As we take on the next 5 weeks together, I want you to feel intentional and excited. Summer Series isn’t about spending hours journaling and answering questions (unless that’s your thing!) but I do want you going into this knowing clearly how you want to FEEL.
Whenever you can this week, please take the time to reflect on the big questions below. Ideally, write them out for yourself! You are so much more likely to actually achieve the goals you have for yourself if they are written down. Once you’ve thought this through on your own, it’s time to share (as much of this as you are comfortable) with your accountability partner. Saying things out loud makes them real, and this way you can support each other in a more meaningful way.
How do I want to FEEL this summer?
Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and think about what the most fulfilled and real version of you feels like this summer. Write it down.
Now, you need to start living as that version of you today. You cannot wait for anything - you need to embody her right now. Does she show up for hard workouts because she knows how good it makes her feel? Wear shorts because she feels like it? Speak up without over thinking when she has a good idea? She isn’t going to magically appear out of nowhere, you need to start living as that version of you TODAY.
What are my Fitness Performance Goals for the Summer Series?
Fitness Performance = what do you want to be able to DO?! This can mean in your workouts, or in real life.
Get clear and specific so you can connect to those goals every time you show up to train!
What life goals do I have for this Summer?
What are specific, tangible things that you want to do, experience, achieve, or work toward this summer?
Think about all areas of your life, not just health and fitness! I like to include career, fun, relationships, money etc.
What daily and weekly habits am I going to consistently repeat?
These habits should tie directly to the goals you want to achieve this summer!
Remember, when you’re setting a habit for yourself, it is SO IMPORTANT that the habit connect to the person you want to identify as (ie. how you defined the most fulfilled version of you above) and not just some random outcome.
What is my Summer Series Mantra?
This should be something short and powerful that directly connects to how you want to FEEL this summer!
It’s going to be something you repeat back to yourself to connect back to your WHY
